Happy 4th of July!

Which works for everyone, because every country has a July 4th.
NOTE:  Sorry for the terrible, old joke.

This has always been one of my favorites.  I'd call it a Captain Caption, but I already have several of those on delayed posting.  To be honest, I didn't feel like renumbering them.

Sue me.

"Okay, let's see if I got this right.  Washington will have roast beef
on a kaiser roll with extra horseradish...Jefferson, turkey club on rye,
dark meat only, I heard that's how you like it, Tom...Adams, veggie,
no cheese, light wheat bread, with low fat Miracle Whip... sheesh!
Someone carrying your purse, Miss?  And Franklin will have fish
and chips.  What the f...fish and chips!?  Seriously, Ben, do you
have any clue what the frik we're doing here?"

  2. Hope you have a great 4th of July, and you never wear those cut off pants they did in the old days. A few look like the are posing for an early swimsuit magazine.

  4. When he asks for fish & chips he doesn't mean potato chips either. He is having it the correct way-french fries:) I bet someone is ordering a vegan meal too

    1. Ben was a lot of things, but what struck me most about him was that he was a positively dreadful husband.
Pretty quiet weekend at Penwasser Place. And I'm really cool with that.

  11. That's what our family looks like when we try to get our order together. Only there's a lot more eye rolling involved with the teenager.
