    1. Like I just told Pat, that's the going rate for gas in Virginia. Sadly, it's even more expensive in Pennsylvania. And, more that THAT where I grew up in Connecticut. No wonder my nephew moved to Texas.

  2. I see it's for sale, too. They're going to pump you up and leave town!

    1. Except in Jersey, the sign says, "We Pump It. Then Rip the Friggin' Thing Off. And Show It To You."

    1. When we were in Iceland, gas was twice as expensive as it is here.

  7. I went to Georgia. Their gas wasn't very expensive. It wasn't The Middle of Nowhere, Georgia. It was Nowhere, Georgia. I don't care that the gas was cheap. I don't want to go again.

    Love,

  8. Here in Oregon it's illegal for motorists to pump their own gas. I'm not sure why.

    1. Same in New Jersey. Not sure why that is, either.

  10. In all seriousness though ... How often do you see a station that still pumps the gas for you! That is pretty awesome, lol

    1. It's against the law in New Jersey to pump it yourself.
In Pennsylvania, they have self-service stations.
But, it's illegal to pump it yourself in public. Prudes.

  11. "And your car will come before it goes" they should have added.

  12. Here we pump it ourselves, I think the last time we had it pumped for us was one time in New Zealand

  14. I believe public pumping should be legal everywhere, so long as it's done safely. We're paying for the service, afterall.

    1. I think public pumping is legal in Nevada.
Wait. You're talking about gas, aren't you?

  15. I bet they let the nozzle linger after the run too, to make sure you get every last drop, before pulling it out. I'm envious.

  16. We have a gas station near me that pumps your gas for a whopping two hours on Wednesdays. The employees are always so miserable. Good thing they don't work at a Jersey station.

  18. Oh this is low to me since our gas here in Canuckland is 97.5 C per litre which is low right now for us. It was $1.37 per litre last year at this time. ( The price of $2.48 G is about $81.62 a litre)

    1. Confusing...the only liters I know are Diet Pepsi bottles.
Which I can get for $2.33. I dunno if that's a good deal or not.
