    1. And thank goodness winter has finally seemed to have loosened its grip!

  2. And that is why you watch it on tv, then when it rains, can go take a nap and not get wet.

    1. Funny you should say that. Baseball is GREAT for TV.
      Innings 1-3 Watch
      Innings 4-6 Nap
Innings 7-9 Wake up and watch the rest of the game.
      You probably didn't miss much.

  4. But, there's no lightning. It must go on!

    1. That much is pretty true. We HAVE played in the rain. Not a deluge, but some rain. But, one crack of thunder, we're done for at least a half hour.

    2. Around here it can be pouring. You can be slipping and sliding all over the place, but as long as no lightning, you are good to go. Thunder doesn't matter because you can hear that from a long ways away.

    3. Pretty funny in that I coach a high school baseball team and I spend March-May fixated on the weather. It's supposed to rain all day here, but it's been partly sunny since eight. So, I think we're a go. But...if a thunderstorm pops up? Game over, man, game over.

  5. yep -rain is wonderful, except when it interferes with fun. But it's awesome if you want to take a nap and not feel guilty on an afternoon.

  6. I like to see humans play sport in the rain - it brings out their inner rainforest ape Have you ever seen chicks mud-wrestle in the rain?

  8. So my son gets MLB.TV. I'm too old for the crowd anywho, so if one rains out, I go to another.

  11. I remember sitting through our sons baseball and football games on cold and rainy days. Of course they were never called until we were completely soaked. I'm still waiting for my "thank you."
