Well...you're wrong!!
Now you just get those bomb vests on!"

    1. Of all of the ones nominated, it was the only one I saw. A weird, weird movie. I guess I'm an unsophisticated dullard, because I thought it sucked.

  2. I never saw it, but it could not have sucked more than Birdman. I'm so stooooopit I did not even understand the freakin' ending.

    1. Well, now that you said it, I'll have to rent it. If I understand the ending,
      you'll hear it here.
I did like Michael Keaton as Batman, Mr. Mom, and Beetlejuice, though.

  3. It's always awkward when white guys give a black power salute...that said I don't think I saw any of the movies that were part of the Oscars.

  4. Most of the movies nominated were bang head against wall worthy anyway. The stick up their bum voters for such umm trash need to go away. But then we'd get ones that vote in Adam Sandler in drag for best picture, which may be a worse fate.

    1. The only one I saw was GBH and I thought it was dreadful. I actually would like to see the others, although I heard 'Birdman' was terrible, too.
      Who knows?

  5. There must be something wrong with me because i thought Grand Budapest Hotel was dreadful and only hung in to the end to see how bad it would get. And I doubt bomb vests come in my size.

    1. I'm with you. A friend told me it was a fantastic movie. I rented it On Demand and watched it. When it was over, I wondered, "What the hell did I just see?"

  6. Is that really the name of a movie? From the comments, I guess I should hang my head in shame.

    1. It really is. And, no, you shouldn't.
      It sucked.

    1. I really haven't heard all that much about it. But, I do like Michael Keaton.
So, an On Demand screening may be in my future.

    1. Granted, he makes much more money than me. But, that movie was horrible. I suppose it was good in its own way, but I prefer the 3 Stooges to artsy-fartsy.

  11. Every year, I see less and less of these nominated movies. And every year, I care less about these nominated movies.

    1. Many years, I always made sure to watch the Oscars.
