The folks at FOX News said I should come

    1. Truth be known, part of me will be sorry to see him leave. He's a comedy gold mine.
Luckily (?), the world is full of targets: liberal, conservative or otherwise.

    1. Sadly, there's a LOT of boxes in that store with a LOT of other people's names (Boehner, Pelosi, Reid, McCain, etc.) on them.

  3. Fox News is apparently on the way out. At least in some places. DISH don't carry it anymore after a dispute they had over costs.

    1. While I like FOX, they are starting the downward spiral into partisan idiocy (while not the only example, Sean Hannity, the GOP Cheerleader, is unwatchable).

  4. Boy, I hope it is the right place.

    1. Maybe. He was in the same line as Boehner, McConnell, and Pelosi so...

  5. There's no such thing as FOX News. It's Fox conservative hysteria.

    1. Actually, Shep Smith of FOX is reported as saying that nobody blamed the Oklahoma City attacks on Christianity because Tim McVeigh was a Christian. So, why should people blame Islam for Paris? Yep, lunacy isn't confined to MSNBC. So....

    2. funny thing about MSNBC is that most liberals don't really watch it which is the main reason they struggle in ratings. I usually just read news online. The only thing political/news I would watch a lot was the Colbert Report.

In the bible belt most fast food resturants have fox news on almost every tv. There's a bojangles near my work that usually has either CNN or that channel that has a lot of police cases/unsolved mysteries.

But Fox News is journalism the same way sewage is water.

    3. No, their news reporting is good (even Shepherd Smith isn't bad). I admit, though, some of their analysts are tiresome. As I said earlier, some shows like Sean Hannity are unwatchable. Megyn Kelly is a little too much for my taste, too. And I get why people don't like O'Reilly. I like watching, but I get it. Colbert? He's a GD comedian. That's not news. MSNBC's ratings are bad because MSNBC sucks. No one really watches it-wonder why that is? C'mon, they have Al frikkin' Sharpton the tax dodger on their payroll. I don't mind CNN all that much, though. I will grant you that journalism in this country blows.

  8. I have a feeling we'll still be stuck seeing Michelle's arms for years to come. Move over Oprah.

    1. I think you'd need a crane to move Oprah.
      Oh, my, that was mean.
      I'm sorry, Lord.

  9. I have no caption, and I have a feeling anything I say will be quite the minority opinion here :)
But you're my friend, and I wanted to pop in and say hi. Re: the comment on my blog: Yes, it will be a cold, gray bucket of suck until tax time. You got that right, Penwasser!

    1. All opinions are welcome! Pshaw! You're my friend! The good news about the return of warm weather? It takes some of the sting out of tax time. Imagine if it was JANUARY 15th.
On a related note, does anyone say 'pshaw' anymore?

  10. Do they actually sell that by the box - here it only comes in crates… I go through a lot of it! Just sayin'...

  13. I'm not a fan of either side and never vote along party lines (my party never has anybody in the race). In my humble opinion, Fox news has the most attractive ladies, but I can barely stand to watch them, because they choose to ignore the facts about the improvements that have taken place during the current administration. Anyone, who isn't rich, very well off, or a woman, that votes for any GOP candidate, simply isn't paying attention. On the other side, how about putting the the actual "takers" to work on public works projects or something like that, instead of just "giving" them everything they want? My party will never be in power and that is too bad. We need to change the system, because it just ain't working.
Anyway, there has never (at lest in my long lifetime) been so much hatred directed at a president, as there has been towards Obama. Based on the numbers, which have been great, that only leaves one problem. That problem, is that he is black. There are far too many "put the white back in the white house" t-shirts worn at TEA party events, to believe that isn't the actual (unsaid) goal.

When it comes to the POTUS position, there isn't a yahoo on either side worthy of the position, except for Hillary Clinton. Nobody else, on either side stands a chance against her One last thing...

The only thing I'm REALLY anxious to see, is latest version of how the GOP "candidates" gut each other in the primaries... I want somebody in power who is in the center politically (leaning towards the left), but has no problem launching cruise missiles, whenever and wherever they are needed. That is all I have to say about that!
