Captain Caption LXI

"Now there were shepherds in that region living in the fields and keeping night watch over their flock.  The angel of the Lord shone around them...and said to them, 'Do not be afraid; for behold, I proclaim to you good news of great joy that will be for all the people.  For today in the city of David, a Savior...hey!!  What the frik is that guy doing tying his shoe in the stable??'"
-Luke, Chapter 2, Verses 8-10

  1. Hey a lot worse has happened in stables. If the story took place in Wales the story could be a LOT different.

    1. Thank goodness it didn't take place in New Jersey.
It'd be next to impossible to find three wise men there.
      Or a virgin.

    1. It was outside the church onboard Naval Air Station Memphis in Millington, TN in December, 1986.
      Yeah, it was pretty bleak.

  5. Which reminds me of a joke I heard: "Why wasn't Jesus born in Mexico?"

Answer: "He couldn't find three wise men and one virgin."

Okay. Sorry. I guess it was a bad one. ;0)

  6. Okay, I have to do better than the Mama (Sherry Ellis). Elizabeth says to John: So why can't you be more like your cousin Jesus?
