Time to grieve for friends, grieve for family
And convince ourselves that there continues to be good all over the world.

    1. Sadly, it's the evil which gets all the press.

  2. Good is out there you just never hear about it because bad news sells

  3. I'm addicted to the Sunday Morning show with Charles Osgood because it does focus on good or positive stories. I recall this great photo from last year and still find it a powerful statement. I hope you have a great weekend.

  4. I don't know about the "all over" part but I do know I still see a lot of good things done by good people in my neck of the woods.

  5. Very well said. Thank you. There is good all over the world. We must keep bringing it. But I don't need to tell you that, because you do.

  6. It's easy to overlook the good in the world, when it's the bad that gets all the press.

  7. The irony is, while no one wants to hear the bad, that sells.... but yet, when there's a brief moment of good on the news, people are so relieved and excited that there is good in the world. When in reality, it's not "news" it's what lots of people do everyday except someone actually got it on camera on a slow news day.

Course, that's not what this post is about.

Thank you for your service. :)

  8. I recall that, a few years ago, a newspaper was launched with a remit to focus only on positive things happening in the world. Unfortunately, its circulation numbers were low and it soon folded.
