Elf On The Shelf?

How about a vintage Slouch On The Couch from 1987 instead?

Yeah.  Probably not.
But, seriously, how 'bout those legs?

From Penwasser Place to your place, I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas!

Or had a very Happy Hannukah!
And, okay, go kooky with Kwanzaa.
Hell, if none of the above apply,
enjoy that Winter Solstice!!

The Druids would have wanted it that way.

Penwasser Place will return in 2014.
Expect great things.  Or you can come back here.

  4. What the elf happened? I just went into a 1980's time warp.

Hope you are having, or had a fantastic Boxing Day Eve.

  5. The elf on the shelf is creepy. Seriously... have you seen that smile? No one smiles like that unless they are possessed by the devil... and we all know that's not what Christmas is about.

Now slouching on the couch... that's what Christmas is about, right?

    No?

    Damn it.

    1. I sometimes wish my kids were still young enough for us to own elf on a shelf. Oh, the fun I could have with that and a camera!

    2. Thought you might like this... another blogger buddy of mine doesn't have an elf, but rather a football player.....

It's way less creepy, although I'd prefer Tom Brady myself.
