Vito Corleone and the Orange Peel

Matthew (and maybe some others of you):  Hopefully, this will make sense of today's Facebook Funnies.

  1. What a touching scene that was! A little boy learning how to give grandpop a heart attack.

    1. Oooh, that's right. Whenever my kids have kids, I'll just have to stay away from gardens.
      And citrus fruit.

  2. Aww yes Al that's right, I remember watching the Godfather with a buddy when I was 13. By this point I'm ashamed to say I'd fallen asleep, I'm not proud but it's the only story I have. RIP Vito.

    1. It was close to the end, so no worries. The Corleone family really went downhill after that.
Did you catch Moe Green getting shot in the eye, though?
      Awesome.
      Except for Moe, of course.

    1. Me, too. I remember Mama Corleone telling Michael, "You can never lose your family."
Of course, that was before Michael had Fredo shot.

    1. I STILL use an orange peel to scare the kids.
Who are now teenagers (and older).
Instead of scaring them, though, they now just shake their heads.

    1. I guess they wouldn't get "Leave the gun. Take the cannoli," either.

  10. Awe, how sad. Guess having fun is a good way to go, he should have had that cough checked out sooner!

  11. I'll have to start getting a look at those Facebook Funnies, because I am lost. It's a good lost, but I'm there.

    1. In case you didn't know, I call them Facebook Funnies because I post them on Facebook first (after finding a "caption-friendly" picture on the web). This means that if you're one of my followers over there, you get a weekly repeat. I occasionally change the wording, but it's basically the same.

  12. Cute little boy. Grandpa was kind of weird, scaring him with that orange in his mouth. Karma.
