  1. This is one of the best posts I've read in the whole challenge Al and I don't even know why. I guess it's something to do with how hard it's made me laugh, this awesome work with a concept that's actually really simple when you think about it, best of luck with X tomorrow buddy.

  2. Clever post. Wepairman? :)

I think I'll hang around awhile.

  3. I am once again in awe of the swirling of brain cells -into zones of quirky brilliance- that is the brain of Al P. However, I didn't need that Bone Whale image. I'm trying to forget it happened. Did it happen, Al? Never mind.

    Great post.

  4. bone whale? wiggle room? oh my goodness.

  5. You should have put the repairman on top the whale. Why? Maytag blows.
Maybe I am a little bitter about that.
    I love Animal House.

  6. Is that 'bone whale' your 8th secret? Just like your blog (if it's all pictures, should we call it a 'blogo'?) I submit to you a twist on the letter W. Today's 6th degree is Bill Anderson to Kevin Bacon. Who's Bill you ask? None other than the given name of the greatest TV actor of our generation--Adam West. To the Bat Pole.

    1. Hee hee hee...you said 'pole.'

    2. I almost forgot!
      Adam West-Penny Marshall-Ron Howard-Kevin Bacon
Adam West who was in an episode of 'Laverne and Shirley' with Penny Marshall who was on 'Happy Days' with Ron Howard who directed 'Apollo 13' starring Kevin Bacon
That Ron Howard guy sure comes in handy.

  7. Oh my gosh, Al...this is by far, the best I've read since I've been a follower of yours. Your mind is so oddly complicated - that's a compliment, by the way. Loved it!

  8. I like the Lily Waters photo and in all my years, I don't think I've ever eaten a Whoopie Pie! If Little Debbie, The Girl Scouts or TastyKake doesn't make them, then it's unlikely I've had 'em. Now, add some Swiss Rolls, Oatmeal Creme Pies and Cinnamon Spinwheels to this list and we're good to go! LOL.

  9. Wild, wacky, wonderful Al - what in the world would we do without woo!!! (Not bad for a wench, whacked out from way too much wandering around this web with wanton wayward thought of leaving words behind that would make a White Elephant's willy wilt).

And Al...that was not easy! Time for another cuppa joe - this time with extra whipped cream!!

I am looking forward to May - may we all get back to "normal" - whatever that my be! (don't think normal has ever visited me, but there is hope!)

Cheers, your pal...Jenny @ Pearson Report

  12. @Matthew: I hope you like tomorrow's post. It's going to have to be two parts (because I didn't want it to be crazy long). I'll have to finish it in May.
@lyndagrace: Please do. I'll stop by your place soonest.
@Robyn: I think the guy heard about the blowhole.
@Sherilin: And, by 'blowhole', of course, we mean 'any port in a storm.'
@Ruth: When I first saw 'Animal House' (TOO long ago), I laughed so hard at that scene that I had trouble breathing. That was one of my favorite parts of the movies. Well, that and "I'm a zit. Get it?"
@Elsie: I'm seeing someone about that. It's an ex-Secret Service agent in need of a few bucks.
@Nicloe: Believe it or not, Lily Waters is an actual person. Pete Whistle is not. Tasty Kakes, Little Debbies, Girl Scout cookies....all fantastic!
@Jenny: Wanton and wayward is the best way to be. Weally.
@baygirl32: Hopefully, not on the keyboard.
    @Dana: Thanks!
@Bersercules: You should see me around shiny things.

  13. Wow you brought so many to your mat today. Willy Wonka couldn't even keep up. Although you did sorta, maybe umm cheat with Scooby Doo!

    ReplyDelete
  14. Fantastic! Especially White elephant! I wish you'd have done one of these for all your letters!

    ReplyDelete
  15. @Pat: Well, it's better than cheating ON Scooby Doo. That's a good way to get kicked in your scooby snacks.
@CW: So many letters, so little time.

  16. Whoopie Cushion.....Clever, my lad and it took a great deal of thought. You amaze me. 3 to go.

    ReplyDelete
  17. @Eva: You're lucky. As you know, they're all over Maine.
@Manzanita: And then I hope to rest. But, not on a Whoopie Cushion.

  18. I'm breathing a sigh of relief that it's nearly over and I didn't even take part.
When it's safe to again I am going to get round to reading ALL the a-z posts and leaving everyone loads of comments with questions in them that need an answer.
    That will teach you all.

I just read a few here though - love the U poem. But now it's 2am so I better go to bed.

See you when the coast is clear....

  19. Al, I knew you'd have a witty response so I came (hee hee I said "came") back. You haven't disappointed me yet. Wink.

  20. "Wepairman, Weezy and Pecker head" were just a few of my favorites! Another Penwasser classic that I'll have to visit again and again! You are always full of surprises! Wham out of the ballpark! Julie

  21. He likes his scooby snacks, so instead of kicking he might bite.

  22. Oh, you found a way to include the wonderful Art Garfunkel in this post. I hope he brought his guitar. I love this.

  23. @dirtycowgirl: A friend of mine-you know him as "Anonymous"-sent me a picture of yours truly in a pair of tightey-whiteys (why he was able to snap a picture of me in my skivvies is another story). I may post it next month. It's pretty funny. And horrifying.
@Robyn: Hee hee hee...you said I said "came." Somehow, I feel responsible for bringing everyone down to the lowest common denominator. Because I guess I am.
@Julie: "Weezy" made me chuckle, too. As opposed to guffaw. Which starts with "G" (oh, gosh, the 'G' post seems so long ago!).
@Pat: That, plus being neutered would make anyone cranky.
@Nellie: I love Simon and Gar, the Funkel Brothers!
