Final Post For 2011

Merry Christmas to All
and To All a Good Knight!
(I know, that didn't look right to me, either.  But, it passed Spell Check)

Penwasser Place will be closing up shop for the holidays.  I'll be taking the rest of the year off to recharge my creative juices and....oh, who the frig am I kidding???  I've got a week off from work and I want to watch trashy TV, eat junk which will shorten my life-span (which is okay, because I've had a good run),  and play with my....toys.  Yeah, that's it.  Toys.

Happy Holidays to you and yours (even if, by yours, I mean a blow-up cow) as we segue into the last year of the world (if the Mayans are to be believed).  On the bright side, you won't have to read anything I write anymore.

See you in 2012!

Love,
Al

  1. Merry Christmas Al, I'll miss your posts while you're gone but sure! It's been great connecting with someone as wise and learned as you, it really has. Here's hoping you, your friends and all your family have a great festive period!

  5. I spent my creative juices over at Bushmans. I know you visit him; so in-between you TV watching and gorging you find a minute go read his post and my comment! It sums my day up, so far!

Merry Christmas, Al, and stop kidding around with this "closing up shop" stuff; this isn't a shop and you're NOT allowed to close up; we didn't vote on it; you're still on Blogger's Island - so there, now get posting you lazy sod! (don't make me go postal...for sure your mail will suffer and all your bills will be delayed - then...the taxman cometh)

....well, what are you waiting for - get over to Bushman’s World my witty stuff is over there!

  9. You mean you can close up shop? Last time I tried that, the Vietnamese guy that yells at me to make comics started whipping me with bamboo strips.

  10. We don't listen to the Mayans about anything else so I don't see why we should believe them about the end of the world.

  11. @Mynx: I thought I WAS following you! I just took care of that. We just returned from our trip so I won't be reading everyone until tomorrow. It's good to be back to my own bed, my own TV, and my own toilet. Ahhhhhh...........

  14. I hope whatever you're doing with your toys and your juices is progressing well, now that we're two days after Xmas. Don't play with the juicer, though, that isn't a re-charging toy.

  18. HI, everyone! I got back the night before last from my Christmas trip down to Virginia (where, surprisingly, they speak English!). Rather than answer each one of your comments, I'm going to read each one of your blogs and comment there. Because, really, isn't that what you'd actually prefer? But, if you're reading here, I wish you all a very Happy New Year! I think we all (Christians, Jews, Muslims, Amish, Cubs fans, Buddhists, Atheists, Hindus, Mormons, Shinto People, Animists, New Yorkers, Kwanza....ites???) can agree that it IS the new year. Unless you use a different calendar. Then, good luck with figuring out when Easter is.
NOTE: I realize that 'Mormons' are Christians. With bikes.
